Holden High School enrolls more than 500 students in grades 9 through 12 and is located in Holden, Mo. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as English, social studies, mathematics, science, fine arts, foreign languages, computers and physical education. It offers a range of athletic activities, including football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, wrestling, track and field, baseball, softball and cheerleading. The school involves students in several extracurricular activities, such as band, choir, Science Olympiad, academic bowl, student council, art club, yearbook and newspaper group. It offers a variety of student organizations, including the National Honor Society (NHS), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and Future Farmers of America (FFA). In addition, the school s library stocks various reading and reference materials. Holden High School is a part of Holden R III School District.
