Established in 1902, The Newcan Company specializes in the design, production and supply of perforated metal tubes and precision stampings for the automotive, filtration, electronic and industrial separations markets. It also supplies parts for automotive air bags. The company manufactures straight and spiral varieties of lockseam and welded tubes, as well as perforated coils and paper blanks. It manufactures products in electrolytic tinplate, aluminum, and stainless, cold-rolled and galvanized steel. The Newcan Company operates production facilities in Greenville, Ohio, and Gastonia, N.C. It is ISO 9002, ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949:2002 and QS-9000 certified. The Newcan Company is a member of the American Society for Quality, Association of Industrial Manufacturers, Filtration & Separation Society, Automotive Industry Action Group and Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
