Operational for more than 60 years, Stevens Cooperative School is a nonsectarian private elementary school. It enrolls more than 300 students in grades two through eight. The school s general academic curriculum includes subjects, such as English, math, science, language arts and social studies. Stevens Cooperative School also conducts classes in art, foreign languages, and health and physical education. It organizes book fairs, science exhibitions, annual actions and pizza nights. Stevens Cooperative School provides special education programs for students with special needs. The school operates a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising and social events. Stevens Cooperative School has branch locations in Jersey City and Hoboken, N.J.
