  Dr. Susan Shuck is pleased to announce the addition of Sonya Dillard, Nurse Practitioner, as new health care provider in her office. Ms. Dillard is an alumnus of Southern Adventist University Graduate School of Nursing. While there, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society for excellence in nursing. Prior to being a nurse practitioner, Ms. Dillard was a critical care registered nurse at Memorial Hospital's main campus. Dr. Shuck said of Sonya, "I hand-picked her for this practice because of her cardio/pulmonary experience in the CCU and her wide clinical experience as a nurse practitioner. She is an ideal addition to Obstetrics and Gynecology of Hixson to enhance our approach to total healthcare for women."

• Labor and Delivery
  Dr. Shuck is from Lookout Mountain, GA. She is a graduate of GPS, in Chattanooga, TN. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Dr. Shuck worked as a labor and delivery nurse before entering medical school.  She graduated with honors from the Medical College of Georgia with her Doctor of Medicine degree.  She has been practicing as an OB/GYN in the Chattanooga / Hixson area since 1994.
