Chester Frost Park is one of the parks maintained by the Hamilton County Parks and Recreation. Its amenities include camping grounds, paved access roads, more than 190 sites with water and electric hookup, over 60 sites with primitive tents and dump stations. The park also features boat launches, fishing piers, showers, vending machines, recreation hall and picnic shelters, playground, sand volleyball and swimming areas and a beach. Chester Frost Park is the site for many tournaments and its covered picnic shelters and a pavilion building are available by reservation to accommodate small or large group outings and functions. Its park rangers are on duty 24 hours a day. Chester Frost Park is located in Hixson, Tenn.
