The Great Lakes Cheese Company manufactures and distributes natural and processed cheeses, including cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella and provolone. From humble beginnings as a home cheese delivery company in 1958, Great Lakes Cheese has grown to be one of the largest privately owned cheese companies in the United States. The company has processing plants in Fillmore Utah, LaCrosse and Plymouth Wisc., Hiram, Ohio, Cuba and Adams, N.Y. The most-loved cheese in America, mild and mellow cheddar is a mainstay of the Great Lakes product line. Great Lakes Cheddar Cheese is patiently cured and useful in a multitude of applications, from slices to shreds.
