Specialties: Including but not limited to weight loss and management, sports nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, diabetes, heart disease and renal/dialysis, intuitive and mindful eating, specialized diets/food allergies or sensitivities, vegetarian, Crohn's, IBS and Celiac disease, prenatal and postpartum nutrition, pediatric nutrition, geriatric nutrition, menu planning, eating disorders Ashley is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian who is passionate about nutrition and physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Iowa State University. She continued her education at Dominican University where she completed her Masters of Business Administration and dietetic internship. Ashley has worked with a variety of patients and clients of all ages and health conditions. Ashley knows that it is important to make small changes to make a big impact on health. She wants to empower people to make changes toward a healthy lifestyle. She believes that all food, in moderation, can fit into a healthy lifestyle. She strives to provide evidenced-based nutrition information and clear up misinformation that is in the media today. Outside of work, Ashley is an avid runner. She has completed three marathons and many other road races. She also enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, traveling, and trying new recipes. Ashley is a mother of a toddler and understands how difficult it can be to get children to eat healthy.
