When doing my loan with a senior loan officer I was quoted a lower rate than what the loan was closing for.I had been promised a rate on the initial loan application, done by hand, that was .375 lower than the actual rate on the final documents. When I inquired and was told that their was nothing she could do, I threatened to walk away. She came back and gave me a rate that was still .125 higher than originally quoted. Also the process dragged along somewhat and I felt like I was not kept in the loop as to where the loan stood at times.
