Nothing personal with the owner Nate. He is actually good. But I feel that I started getting sub-standard customer service from his employee as time went along with each return. It all started when I went in for an oil change. I picked up my car and got a call that they forgot to put my car registration back in after getting some info (why? don't know and it happened another time too). So I had to return to pick it up. Hey...a mistake is a mistake, right? I can live with that.

Another time it was my safety inspection. I went to get a safety inspection at my usual inspection place, and the current inspection couldn't be found. Then I remembered that Nate reminded me that my safety inspection was almost due and wondered why they would take the safety inspection out.

So, still being loyal to Speed-O, I returned another time for service. After a few days after the service, my "service engine" light came on. I called the shop and brought it back in for a diagnostic check. It was fine, and they said they wasn't going to charge me, but paid the diagnostic charge anyway.

Today was the "point of not return". I needed to schedule service again, and I called numerous times on July 18 and even left a message. When I got no reply, I called again about 4 pm and finally got someone on the phone and asked to get an appointment, and got one scheduled for July 26 at 10AM. Now, Normally Nate would check the schedule and let me know if he's booked, but this person said that they were clear. On the day of, I brought my car in, they seemed unaware that I had an appointment, but said they could do it. Went my merry way and returned about an hour later to find the car wasn't even touched. Nate was apologetic and said there was a priority job that needed to be done. So I got my keys and left.

I know that employers should help and stand with their employees, but never lie to a customer. You never even asked or offered to reschedule an appointment. That told me that your employee didn't put my appointment in the book.

The best decision I ever made!

They are very friendly and helpful. The mechanics really know their stuff. Very reasonable.
