The Life Care Centers of America is one the leading health care centers in the United States. The center operates more than 200 skilled nursing, assisted living, retirement, home care and Alzheimer's centers in over 25 U.S. states. It provides housing arrangements and amenities, home assisted and retirement living, and nursing care and related services. The Life Care Centers of America offers skilled nursing care, inpatient rehabilitation, wound management, and suction and oxygen therapies. In addition, the center provides physical and occupational therapies and maintains a speech language pathology unit. It has a life care center in Hilo, Hawaii.

All of the staff in North 1 are absolutely wonderful people. They genuinely care about their patients and go far beyond what is expected of them. The rest of the staff on the wings/floors should take a few lessons and tips to better themselves from these people. Would I recommend sending your loved ones to Life Care of Hilo? No, unless the staffing can conduct themselves as those in North 1 continue to do. The Administrative staff, especially Chris Ridley does an outstanding job in what they do too but obviously they can't do it all.

A wonderful, caring place. Excellent staff and services. You could not find any better place. It's just too expensive at 10K a month.
