Do not quote APR. On good faith estimates hid it in back of one out of four and did not mention it. Are not upfront about their fees. Too late I read that you compare loans by the APR minus all the fees associate with the loan to know which one is best. We assumed we were being quoted the APR rate. AT NO TIME WERE WE TOLD WHAT THE APR RATE WAS! Only at the signing did we realize we were not--and realized that they had doubled the fee that they told us they charged. Had requested that they send us something in writing about when the loan was locked in. They did not. Only upon signing did we find the higher interest rate and hidden fees. Beware.
