The food and service is always excellent. However they are also always crowded and loud! Either they need a larger space or less tables. Space between tables is tight.

Restaurant with bar, decorated tastefully with an upscale feel but one would feel comfortable to dine here if dressed casually.LOW CARBERS: Somewhat friendly to low carb requests, seared ahi tuna salad is excellent!!!!!Local, organic and fresh ingredients are used when possible, the menu includes items like salads, sandwiches (i.e: Blue Bay Burger with Garlic Fries, grilled free-range chicken breast), and lunches/entrees such as: flaky-crust vegetarian potpie, slow-cooked pork barbecue ribs, house-made ravioli (stuffed with artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, and cream cheese) potato-crusted fresh catch, grilled pork loin with bordelaise sauce and crispy spanakopita.Even though this is located in a strip-mall like location, its worth the trip for a visit whether you are in Hilo for a few hours or are a resident. Then you can plan some convenient shopping afterwards!
