Founded in 2000, Farmsteads of New England is a nonprofit human service agency that serves the vocational, residential and recreational needs. It features a farming community, which caters to the needs of people suffering from autism and other developmental disabilities. The agency provides various recreational and socialization opportunities that include activities, such as growing crops and raising animals. Farmsteads of New England also offers various residential, transport and respite services. Its residential services include meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping and helping people to enjoy leisure time.
