LifeWorks NW is one of the leading, nonprofit, community-based providers of prevention, mental health and addiction agencies in the Oregon. Established in 1961, the agency offers behavioral care solutions for children and senior citizens in Washington and Multnomah counties in Oregon. Its e-newsletter features regular updates on upcoming service information, events and programs. LifeWorks NW provides several rehabilitative services for African American and Hispanic communities. The agency offers counseling solutions in Spanish, Russian, Filipino and Chinese. In addition, it provides assistance in overcoming dependence on prescription and over-the-counter medications. LifeWorks NW life skill development and juvenile crime and substance abuse prevention programs. The agency also offers adult day services for persons suffering with dementia-related disorders.
