Founded in 1946, Groner Elementary School serves more than 190 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school offers American Sign Language as a second language program. It has a library and deaf and hard of hearing pre-school. The school s parent-teacher organization offers fund enrichment programs, such as art literacy and cultural assemblies, as well as the reading incentive programs. Groner Elementary School organizes several events, including family bingo, field trips and pizza nights. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as science, social studies, language arts and mathematics.
