Northridge Elementary School has an annual enrollment of more than 650 students in grades kindergarten through six. The school has a staff of regular classroom and speech teachers, nurses, reading specialists, school psychologists and counselors. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as science, music, technology, art, English, math, science, reading, writing, social studies and physical education. The school has a library media center that provides access to online encyclopedias, databases, facts and statistics, dictionaries and thesauruses. In addition, it provides food, transportation and medical care services to students. Northridge Elementary School is a part of the Douglas County School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
