Highland Park High School is governed by Township High School District 113 and is located in Highland Park, Ill. The school is a college-preparatory school that provides academic and career preparatory classes to more than 1,900 students in grades 9 through 12. It offers various subjects, such as English, fine arts, mathematics, science, social studies, applied arts, special education and technology. The amenities offered by the school include a library, cafeteria, computer laboratory, and media and fitness center. The school offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as performance arts, community service, visual arts and band. It maintains the Giants Club and parent-teacher organization. The school has a counseling and guidance department that communicates with parents, teachers and administrators regarding student issues and needs.
