The company focuses on small to middle-market companies with long-term, highly scalable investment opportunities, including carve-outs of businesses, product lines acquisitions, distressed turnarounds and early-stage financings. Its operating companies are Autocar, LLC, Aculocity, Triz Engineering Services, Workhorse Custom Chassis, Union City Body Company (UCBC) and Uptime Parts from Transcom. GVW Group, LLC sold GVW Parts to Navistar International in 2005. The firm caters to the consumer products, industrial manufacturing, financial services and technology sectors.
