I've been coming to see Ross for 10+ years now and have nothing but the highest praise for his work. This is a real barbershop that does real haircuts, unlike the ridiculous hard lines, undercuts and piss poor blending that other people have come to accept as "good work."

Strictly cash-only with prices from $13 - $22/cut. If you think that's too much then you should do your own cuts, if you think that's too little then it's because you've been paying too much for bad cuts elsewhere.

Finally a real group of barbers who take their time to deliver a quality experience. I've had the pleasure of great haircut by some great barbers on more than a dozen occasions at The Hot Towel in Highland. Always a great experience! Check em out. You won't be disappointed.

STAY AWAY!!! I had the worst haircut ever at this place. While I was sitting in the chair getting a haircut the barber kept complaining about his "other guy" who wasn't there. He's cutting my hair with a cellphone tucked under his chin! At one point, he swears, throws the scissors down and storms into the back. Besides me, there was one other customer there and we were both uncomfortable. The barber finally comes back and continues complaining to us and really not paying much attention to my haircut. It was the most uncomfortable and awkward situation I've ever been in at a barber shop. If you want a good haircut, and a decent experience, stay away from this place!!! Also, what's up with their description on Yahoo? "Mom can go to the local stores less than a block from the Hot Towel Barbers. A bite to eat, ice cream, coffee, shoes, jewelry, books, woman's clothing,great antiques, and a hairstyle at one of ... " This place is located miles away from New Paltz and Highland in a rinky-dink little strip mall!! Perhaps they're not sure where they're located...
