I should have read reviews before I went with this glass company. I called around to get estimates over a week ago and found highland glass to be the most affordable. When I spoke with the woman Brianna on the phone initially, she gave me the estimate and told me if I brought the piece of wood in they could measure and cut it and I would have my piece of glass within 15-20 minutes. I brought in my piece of wood on Monday, and was told that there was no one there who could cut it at that time, but I could leave it and they would call me back when it was finished. 5 DAYS later, I had still not heard anything from them about my piece. I called this morning to find out the status and found of that the glass was STILL not ready. The woman I spoke with told me she wasn't sure why Brianna had told me it would be ready within 15-20 minutes as they usually have a 24 period. She was supposed to talk to a manager and call me back. 5 hours later I had still not received a call back, so I called the store again and was greeted by Brianna who I had initially spoke with. I asked to speak with the woman I spoke with this morning, but was returned with a NASTY attitude that I could not speak with her. I repeated asked for a manager and she told me repeatedly that she was the owners daughter and that she would not let me speak to anyone else. She repeated called me "Hun" in a derogatory manner and I asked her not to call me that and that I felt that she was being extremely rude and talking down to me. She said "Oh, now you're telling me how to speak? That's just the way I talk." I told her I did not appreciate being called "Hun" and asked her again not to refer to me as such. She was so unbelievably and disgustingly rude to me to a point where I had no choice but to tell her I no longer wanted their business, that I wanted a refund and I would be coming to pick up my piece of wood and take my business elsewhere. She said GOOD!



A few minutes after getting off the phone with her, I received a phone call from a man names Jason who works there. He told me that he would be cutting my piece of glass momentarily and that it would be ready to pick up in about 20 minutes. He offered me a $20 credit for the future instead of refunding a smaller amount to my credit card. (I should never have paid for it in advance, I know.) I explained to him how disgustingly rude and nasty Brianna was and he apologized a dozen times over for her and pressed that that is not how they run their business, nor how I should ever be treated. He assured me that he would never treat me that way and that she would be spoken to.



Never in my life have I been treated so disrespectfully by a customer service person. I am appreciative for the help Jason has offered me, but you can be damn sure that I will never bring my business to this company ever again, nor will I refer anyone to them.



Do yourself a favor and stay FAR, FAR away from this company!!

Run, do not walk, away from this company.

I've been waiting for over 5 weeks for a piece of replacement glass for my coffee table. At the time of order, I was told it would take 7-10 days! No one from the company ever reached out to me with an update. All communication has been initiated by me. During each call, I was lied to about the whereabouts and arrival time of my glass - the factory was behind due to snow, the distributor went out of business, it's on the truck to be delivered today, it's in the Bronx and no one is available to go pick it up, the "retail" manager is out of the office...the stories go on and on. The best part was when the owner, Saul, finally called and then hung up on me because he had a call on the other line about a bigger order.
