Founded in 1969, Highland Elementary School is a public, coeducational school that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers a variety of educational programs for the intellectual, physical, social, spiritual and emotional development of students. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, social studies, language arts, science, music, math, art, and physical and health education. It also offers special education programs for students with special needs. The school has a media center that stocks a variety of books, magazines, newspapers, reference materials and electronic resources.
