Something changed in ridge cyclery and the customer service is no longer friendly or positive. Many other reviews on the web indicate that you will be ignored if you walk in. TRUE. When I insisted on buying a bike, it offended them. They had many other important things to do. Both of the staff kept looking at the clock, their phone, the window, each other. Every time I went in! The bike is nice, but Raleigh went on the cheap with the cable slack, so I can't afford a simple handlebar upgrade. When I brought the bike in for the 30 day tune-up, I was sent out with it because it was a Saturday. Never once did they open the door, but they watched me struggle with it and bang up my new bike (3 times). Not Cool, Don't shop here! Whatever it used to be, it isn't anymore. Please Note: any positive reviews on this shop are very old.

This store has great service and variety for adults and kids. If they don't have it in stock, they will work with you and order it from their catalogs. They don't push you to buy anything but are willing to guide you and wait for your next visit if needed. They even recommended me to get it in e-bay for something they could order but was a bit expensive for me. I believe this is a family business. The minus is that some suppliers may take more than the ususal 3-7 days to send the ordered clothes.
