Cancellation of service was prompted by garbage not being picked up on Sept. 20th.
When I inquired with the service I was told the driver indicated my garbage was not out for pickup. They promptly then made the pickup I then told them it was and I always put the garbage out the evening before.
I was then told they would not be able to pick up future garbage that was not out in essence calling me a liar.

This has to be the worst garbage service in the area, but the only one available to me. Missed pickup, thrown garbage cans and scattered trash are more or less standard service for Handy's. I have had countless cans destroyed by their service. I have put up with this for 25 years, but as soon as something else is offered I will switch! I give one star for their service only because YP will not accept less!

This company is crap. They are a horrible service and like a dying horse, needs to be taken out to the pasture and shot. They have missed my whole street on several occasions and always turn the cans lid side down when emptied. There is always trash on the ground around the cans when they drive away. They lady who answers the phone has been rude as hell on many occasions. This service is a waste of money!!!!

Handy's is the only trash company in my area. Very unfriendly customer service and trash has not been picked up on several occasions. I have a high dislike for this company, but unless I haul my own garbage off, they are my only choice. If their were competitors in this area, I would go with the competitor.

Do not use this service. My trash was not picked up for two weeks. I called them and the woman that answered the phone called me a liar told me her driver said that they did pick up. Then AFTER talking to both drivers one said they did pick up the other one said they did not. So finally my whole road got their trash picked up after me being insulted.

I have nothing but praise for the guys that handle my route. We had an extreme amount of trash yesterday including cardboard boxes, area rug, and many garbage bags and they took everything! My husband and I were shocked and delighted to find out that there is still a business out there that cares about customer service. Great service, great guys, great company!

FYI--we live in Randolph County and couldn't be happier with this service. Keep up the good work!
