my wife showed up at the Emerald office for an appointment as she was 2 minutes late for therefore they let her set for 12 minutes before telling her that she was not going to be seen because she was like 2 minutes late for her a 130 appointment that she also needed to be there 15 minutes before her appointment scheduled appointment so she had to drive back home for 30 minutes without seeing her doctor is this anyway to run a physician's office they treat people like they're herding cattle through the meat market I think the board of North Carolina what should do something about this kind of procedures
78 year patient comes in for first time physical and was taken off all medications without any test being made????? Physician says that is how he was taught in school? Chairman of Cornerstone please check this out for me. DS
My mother who is 83 years young has been going to Dr. Gay for several years. Today, having severe pain in her knee, needing as she refers to as "a shot", was driven by her granddaughter who took off work for five hours to the office in High Point. My mother was brought into the office in a wheelchair hardly able to walk on her on. This was the first time her granddaughter drove to this area therefore having to take a little more time for traveling. They were late for their appointment less than 15 minutes. Less than 15 minutes. The office personnel told them they were late and considered a "no show". Then, after leaving with tears in their eyes and a sense of bewilderment, they drove back home, another 40 miles. They traveled a total of 80 miles round trip to no avail. Needless to say I have encouraged my mom to NEVER go there again for the level of professionalism is extremely beyond the lowest measure. There were three people waiting in the visitors area. Busy? NOT
