I got my choc lab from there an thank god he was good and healthy.. However we wanted to check out more dogs and some the puppies look sick, shivering and eyes buggers.. It broke my heart they look in really bad condition... Also my friend says all her dogs were sick and told me not buy any pups from there

i bought 3 dogs from there and the first dog had really really bad alergys and it has cost me thousands of dollars ,it was so bad that i had to go to a specialist. i really didnt think anything of it, then i bought 2nd dog an he has intestonal problems and has had diarrear since the day i got him he also had garrdia, that is a parisit from drinkin dirty stagnit water (a lot of puppy mill dogs get). still i am not thinkin anything of it,3rd dog had kennal cough an had to wait 1 mon to get him,no problems since thankgod!my father went to go pick up his puppy an take him home they couldnt give it to him cause the puppy had ringworm, it takes months for that to go aways so they held the dog in the back for 4or 5 months by that time the dog was 9 1/2months old an has been locked in a cage in the back of the store,i love my boys an wouldnt trade em,Now that i have educated myself more i am relizeing that maybe they are not gettin the dog from a reputable place,i am just sharin my expeirance
we bought 3 rotties from shake a paw in hicksville for a great price and they are excellent dogs when they have a problem they took care of it right away we are going to buy another rottie in the near future from them they are one of the best pet shops around i would greatly reccomend them
HORRIBLE!! Do not purchase a pet from SHAKE-A-PAW. MY SISTER AND I PURCHASED PUPPIES A SHORKY, MARLEY AND A PUGGLE, ELVY FROM THE HICKSVILLE SHOP. BOTH CAME HOME WITH KENNEL COUGH AS WELL AS PARASITES. IN ADDITION ELVY HAS CHERRY EYE (RED BUBBLE) IN BOTH EYES!. WE HAVE NO REGRETS AS WE LOVE OUR PUPPIES BUT IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME I WOULD HAVE DONE A BIT MORE RESEARCH!! AND GONE SOMEWHERE ELSE!! SHAKE-A-PAW IS ABOUT ONE THING..$! EVEN WITH THE CONTRACT THEY TRIED EVERY WHICH WAY TO CREATE LOOPHOLES AND AVOID COVERING THEIR END OF THE AGREEMENT. PLEASE RECONSIDER PURCHASING A PET FROM THESE CROOKS.
