This is definitely a local favorite, especially on weekends when they have live music and no cover charge. I love the beers on tap - it's my one (affordable) indulgence. The food is pretty good - better than the average bar/restaurant (where you get overcooked burgers and soggy fries). No pasta on the menu, other than the ocassional special, but lots of warm sandwiches, steaks, a few fish items and the obligatory fried appetizers (the fried oysters are really good though). I really love the side items as my veggie boyfriend can make an entire dinner out of them. Service varies - awesome at the bar, and usually pretty good elsewhere. It can get iffy on busy nights though. But really the atmosphere, local nature, and the beers on tap make it a 5 (well, 4.5) for me.
