Northview Middle School educates students in grades six through eight. It offers regular classes in reading, science, math and social studies. It also offers special classes in art, physical education and technology. Additionally, the school provides various special education and vocational programs. Located in Hickory, N.C., the school promotes participation in several sports activities, such as baseball, golf, soccer, softball, cheerleading, swimming and volleyball. Northview Middle School is a part of Hickory Public Schools, which operates over 10 educational facilities. The district serves more than 4,500 students from prekindergarten through grade 12. It also provides field trips, interschool contests and staff development programs.
