Lenoir-Rhyne College, founded in 1891, is a coeducational liberal arts college offering various graduate, undergraduate and research programs. The college offers a variety of educational programs and academic courses in accounting, agricultural engineering, athletic training, business administration, chemistry, clinical psychology, dietetics, engineering, family and community services, medical technology, music, physical therapy, public administration and nursing. It offers various sports activities to students, including volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, swimming, and track and field.The college provides various amenities to students, such as libraries, arts and performing centers, museums, and sports facilities. It is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students. Lenoir-Rhyne College is located in Hickory, N.C.
