Founded in 1967, Irathane Systems formulates Irathane products for severe services, including mining, quarrying, mineral processing and other severe-service applications. The company also formulates, produces and tests adhesives, primers and curing agents. It has a staff of chemists, design engineers and manufacturing personnel. Irathane Systems has electronically controlled casting machines that maximize product integrity and performance by maintaining optimum blends of base materials for large and small castings. Irathane Systems also provides a wide variety of retrofit parts, custom-designed components and proprietary parts fabricated with wear-resistant Irathane. Headquartered in Hibbing, Minn., the company is a division of Industrial Rubber Products.
