Dr. Trejos is an accomplished internist with a passion for the challenges of primary care, from helping patients focus on healthier lifestyles to diagnosing and treating the most esoteric diseases. Above all, he focuses on creating strong doctor-patient relationships, which he sees as essential for high-quality care. Dr. Trejos graduated with honors in the top five of his class from the Universidad Del Valle in Cali, Colombia.He completed his residency in Internal Medicine through Seton Hall University at Trinitas Hospital. Prior to joining ChenMed, Dr. Trejos contributed to the education of Internal Medicine residents at New York Downtown Hospital as an Associate Program Director and served as a Primary Care Physician for New York City Lower East Side community for over six years. He is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and is fluent in Spanish.
