This facility is very negligent when it comes to their patients. My mother was laying flat on her back chewing a wad of paper. If we hadn't come in when we did she would've choked. Her roommate stated that this wasn't the first time this happened. Several days earlier she was choking on a piece of plastic she got from the plastic bed railing that they had placed. Her roommate also stated that they really don't come in to check on the patients. I really wouldn't recommend this place. The staff also gets agitated with you if you ask them too change the patient or ask too many questions.
My father was there after a long stay in the hospital, and after a few days became very confused & disorientated. When asked if they checked his red blood cell count, they said they did and it was fine. He went back to the hospital where they said the reason of his condition was a very low red blood cell count and also a UTI. It appears that this site does not really care about the residents, and they lie to the families. While their rehab may be good, the medical part leaves a lot to be desired.
