Carlos Guerra, M.D., is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. At Conviva East Hialeah, he leads a team of compassionate healthcare professionals dedicated to patientfocused medical excellence. Dr. Guerra completed an Internal Medicine residency at Saint Lucas Episcopal Hospital, Ponce School of Medicine, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He earned his medical degree from the Havana Institute of Medical Science in Havana, Cuba. Dr. Guerra is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr. Guerra has been recognized through the NCQA’s Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP). Clinicians who achieve DRP Recognition show their peers, patients and others in the Diabetes community that they are part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care.
