The Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area is located at a height of more than 3,300 feet in Hesperia, Calif. The park features hiking trails, boating, swimming beaches, and designated areas for boating, waterskiing and fishing. Its campground has more than 100 family sites, each with a table, barbecue grill, fire ring and restrooms with showers. The park has a marina with a launching ramp, boat and equipment. It has various picnic areas, including three spots that can only be reached by a boat. The Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area offers Wi-Fi services that enable park visitors to access Internet on laptop computers and personal digital assistants.
