MOST IMPORTANTLY, since 1992, Cortona solved the riddles of ADHD, dyslexia, and all processing issues. Since then, all students, even the Gifted, master hi-tech study & organization skills. THIS is why our students get into 4-year colleges with 40-100K in academic schorships! Other private schools look at most istudents as broken glass...Cortona looks at them as diamonds.

Finding a private education in the DC area that is even CLOSE to as good as Cortona Academy is impossible. Director really fights for the education of all students. Truly inspirational. Courses are superior, so are the teachers. Instead of dumming-down a challenged student, Cortona's teachers do just the opposite. Teachers just meet one-on-one with students and boost their self-esteem and ability. It's amazing to attend a Cortona Academy graduation and listen to all the parents speak. Wow! That's the "proof in the pudding." Communication is fabulous. There are written reports sent home just about every other week! We appreciated a syllabus with all homework listed for an entire semester. We even had lots of choice in choosing our student's schedule, teachers, and courses.
