Angelo Rizzolo and his family have been making fantastic Italian food in Citrus Hill and Inverness for many years. Over the years we have built a great relationship and have made many friends. What makes Angelo's different is our New York style passion for creating consistently delicious classics and inventing new ways to enjoy the flavors of Italy. Spent over $800 in last 4 months mostly deliveries. Last few times orders were incorrect but they fixed them. We are good paying and tipping customers. Called for delivery on July 28 and manager at Hernando location would not take my order as he said I was too hard to please.Accused me of swearing at him last time and I did not-Wow -he should look at the promise on the website.

My husband loves the clams and linguini. The Tilapia picatta is my favorite. Always friendly and very convenient for Citrus Hills.

Outstanding antipasto salad. Period. Usually great food and good service. Server provided extra sauce to go at no charge and drinks to go.

We've visited Angelo's before and overall have been pleased. Our last visit, unfortunately, was a disappointment. The service and food quality had fallen dramatically. Our chicken parmigiana was burned on the edges, not enough sauce for the pasta, salad was limp and tasteless, plus we asked for balsamic dressing and she brought oil and vinegar containers. When we asked a second time for balsamic she seemed irritated and said they only did that on request, but reluctantly brought out a small plastic container. Things didn't get any better as the bread was served well into our meal, the talapia and french fires were pretty much void of taste, and we had to ask 3 separate times for a refill of my friend's coffee and my iced tea. Even the raspberry drizzle over the cheese cake dessert was so thin it was hardly worth the effort. Really disappointing...this was supposed to be our dinner-out treat! Hopefully they were just having a bad day.

This is an excellent restaurant with amazing prices and quality! The food is delicious and the staff is terrific. Our server was very friendly and the hostess was the sweetest girl. We'll definitely be going back!
I am so thrilled to have found this new restaurant in Hernando! It's clean, charming, offers authentic Italian food (The NY-style pizza is FANTASTIC!) in generous portions at reasonable prices. The servers are efficient and friendly! My Veal Parmigiana was delicious and my husband said their lasagna was better than my homemade (sob, sob!) I enjoyed the Zuppa Toscana and because I like my soup really HOT, my server went the extra mile to see that it was hot enough for me ! We will be regulars at this great little restaurant! Bravo!
