Established in 1976, Lupine Hills Elementary School serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade 6. The school conducts classes in math, social studies, history, math, language arts and reading. It offers physical fitness and special education programs. Lupine Hills Elementary School also employs academic counselors and support staff. The school is a part of the West Contra Costa Unified School District, which serves more than 31,000 students from kindergarten through grade 12, as well as adult learners. The district provides adolescent parent, alternative education and after-school programs. Its music department coordinates band, choral and orchestra programs for the district s elementary schools, as well as supports teachers and curriculum for the middle and high school music programs.
