- OUR MISSION: Education OUR PASSION: Connecting People & Plants to Improve Communities One of the most-visited attractions in the Richmond, Va., area, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden offers year-round beauty on a historic property with more than 50 acres of spectacular gardens, dining and shopping. A classical domed Conservatory is the only one of its kind in the mid-Atlantic. The Children’s Garden offers a wheel-chair accessible Tree House (fun for kids and adults!), an Adventure Pathway, Sand and Water Play areas and an International Village. More than a dozen themed gardens include a Healing Garden, Fountain Garden, Asian Valley and Victorian Garden. Dining options include the Garden Café and Tea House; the Garden Shop offers an extensive array of items. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is a non-profit organization and proceeds support the Garden's educational mission.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is a public conservatory with more than 40 acres of garden area. It operates a children s garden that features an international village, adventure pathway, tree house, farm garden and parent rest areas. The garden organizes several special events, such as GardenFest of Lights, Champagne 'n' Shopping and Kid Quest. Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden also conducts various educational classes for children and adults that provide information related to horticulture, landscape design, and developments in botanical and applied horticultural research. It offers space for wedding receptions and business meetings. In addition, the garden has a library that stocks horticulture and botanical resources. It manages a garden shop that provides a variety of gardening books, stationery, containers, vases, garden ornaments and household decorative items.
