Only a one star because I had to just to leave this review. If you are looking for customer service this is not the place to consider the purchase of a BMW. After dealing with these guys I will be selling the last BMW I own and never think of purchasing another. Drive 50 miles with title in hand to order a key and was told when I got there both me and the wife must be present to order a key. Something about liability. Just a crock of poo poo. Then I spoke with general manager, his people skills again doesn't even deserve 1 star. I told him I was upset and his response was it looks like you will be leaving upset today. I now know why I traded my X5 for a better quality Toyota Sequoia. Just think before you spend 50k plus is this the kind of dealer you want to work with on servicing your investment, I think not. Richmond BMW on West Broad St is a complete joke, visit their other dealership on Midlothian if you want better service, and dont be afraid to call their home office in NC

Caveat emptor - Richmond BMW sells problems, not vehicles. The 325i I purchased has had problems from the start: door leaks, sputtering engine, speedometer off, flickering dashboard / instrumentation; the warranty will cover most things, but Richmond BMW's Service folks can't seem to fix anything covered (most problems I've had, I've had to take the car in two or more times and the things still aren't fixed. Warranty's no value if you're unable to drive the car waiting for it to come out of the shop. Save your time and buy a Lexus or Infiniti. good -

Bloated prices and chimp-like service - Richmond BMW is a joke. The "product" as they like to call their BMWs are wholly disappointing. The cars are incredibly fragile and break down easily. For what you pay, you could get 2.5 other cars of better quality. I've had to take my car in several times for the same problem - this is the definition of a lemon. Don't waist your time or money. I'd give them negative stars if it were an option.

Very disappointed in the way car was repaired. Sloppy work and not worth the $120.00 an hour labor rate. Over priced and little attention to detail when reassembly of finished work. I will not return to this dealership. Dec. 2008.
I give them 2 stars; no more.Recently purchase an '03 540. I did not like the sales manager tactics for guilting me into buying the car. (Yes, I know it was my fault, but still.) The salesman NEVER returned any of my emails, and the Finance guy did NOT tell me that the extra warranty was NOT BMW warranty, but from a third party. Massive door vapour barrier issues that they did not fix and did not tell me about, but they definitely knew about the problem before the sale. Also pre-sale, the sales manager said he would buy the car back if I was not happy. When taking him to task on that after the sale, he offered to buy it back for $7k less than what it cost me!The one and only good thing about the sale and that place was the price. Despite all the negative, I still believe the price was fair.Still, I would never buy from that location again because of the sales manager and the finance person.
