Thompson is a family nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife. She brings years of experience to AdventHealth Medical Group Obstetrics & Gynecology. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University. Thompson earned her certification in midwifery from East Carolina University. She believes the birth of a child is an important event in every family’s life and encourages family involvement.
