This lawyer was "handling" a custody case for my daughter. He had been paid in full for over 6 weeks. Our hearing was the next day, and my daughter called to verify the location. He informed her that he was scatter brained and we wouldn't be going that day. This is a child's life, not a speeding ticket. I can't describe my feelings right now. I appreciate his help to date, but this is our family's life here. I bet he would not have been scatter brained if he had not been paid in full for 6 weeks. This is an example of why folks think what they think about lawyers. This should NEVER be acceptable!
