Absolutely terrible! Charles lied to my fiance and I several times by stating that we weren't allowed to cancel our policies without being penalized, even though we found MUCH cheaper policies elsewhere that featured better coverage. I later found out that not allowing a customer to cancel their policy is illegal. What other insurance company refuses to let you cancel? If you look at the previous reviewer's experience, this is obviously a practice Affordable Insurance has elected to put into place to attempt to scare their customers into not seeking out better policies.
My fiance's new policy with Geico is about 60% cheaper than what Affordable provided, and includes lower deductibles. When I did finally cancel my policy, Affordable sent the incorrect cancellation date to the DMV (which I'm not sure wasn't intentional, as we felt like we were trying to be intimidated into keeping our policies by Charles previously), so now I have to fight with the DMV to prove that I didn't have a lapse in coverage. I fear that they will do the same to my fiance. Stay far away from this company!
