We just got back from dinner. We had read several reviews, most of which were very negative. This was our first time at this restaurant, and because of the poor reviews, we went there with open minds and reasonably low expectations. We were pleasantly surprised at at our experience. Had the mozzarella, fresh basil and plum (ROMA) tomato appetizer, which was quite good. Glasses of Classico Ruffino at $8 per glass were not outrageous. The ciabatta garlic bread was hot,fresh and tasty. The chicken marsala was flavorful but lacking in presentation. The pasta was cooked correctly and the portion was more than adequate. The dinner special was chunks of lobster served with two tiger shrimp served with a cream/cheese sauce. It was very good, but I would question as to whether or not it really was lobster (crab or langostino). Dessert of cappuccino fudge cake finished off our night. Not much ambience and a little overpriced for what was served. Overall though, worth another try.

Highly recommended...we visit weekly for the Polenta, Artichoke Appetizer and Rigatoni Primavera. Pasta is served al dente with perfectly roasted vegetables in a mild garlic/olive oil sauce. Mille Grazie to the Pasta Shop Team....excellent! Larry & Mary Jo B.

This is the worst Italian food ever. Appears sauce was from no label can, over cooked noodles awful. I should of left when the waitress said don't get lasagna.That is not garlic bread when you don't taste garlic.I live next to the place and smell garlic so we thought we would give it a try what a mistake don't trust zagat review. I want my money back.

The other two reviews written here got it exactly right! We arrived and there were several seats open. We asked for a table in the rear and were promptly told it was reserved for a large party of 15 so we accepted another table. Literally 5 minutes later they sat a party of 2 at that very table! I am a native of Las Vegas and had always heard about this place as great! So finally when they moved 5 minutes from my home I was eager to give it a try. To my great disappointment the food was not even close to acceptable. It was overpriced and simply bad. After going there I will not return, I just though that maybe they had an "off night" however, now I am reading many reviews that are echoing what I experienced. Just a shame, not sure what happened since the move but I advise anyone who asks to steer clear of this place. The owner just does not get it, he is condescending as well. By the way I did see him turn away a bunch of folks even though there were several empty tables?? Weird

I just had dinner tonight (Nov 11, 2010) with my folks and all of us three agreed that it's the worst Italian meal and restaurant in Las Vegas/Henderson. There was not one thing that was enjoyable about our meal. We ordered the polenta and it tasted like sawdust. My folks had (split) Chicken Parmesan and it was the worst ever tasted. I ordered Lasagna and it came out totally dry were the ricotta cheese was not smooth, but rather crumbled from being over baked. I mentioned to the server about my dissatisfaction with the Lasagna and I had it replaced with spaghetti and Marinara sauce. Prego sauce out of the jar is 20X better than that sauce and to boot they didn't give me spaghetti instead linguini noodles. I told the server how bad our meal was and no one cared to talk to us about it. Even the bread was horrible. The sides of spaghetti with my folks meal was all clumped up. Like I said this is the WORST Italian restaurant in the Valley. Don't waste your time. It was GARBAGE!!!
