But his office was exact opposite, everyone was very polite and during my examination he was very transparent about my situation. Sometime in 2017, I tore my rotator cuff doing yoga, YES yoga! I dealt with the pain for quite some time, assuming that it would disappear. After many months of waking up in pain and experiencing intense pain throughout my workday, I decided to see a doctor. After an x-ray and an MRI, I was told I had a pretty significant tear, and surgery was required. I attempted physical therapy first then started Cortisone injections. Reluctantly, I scheduled the surgery with a pretty prominent surgeon locally that has repaired hundreds, possibly thousands of torn rotator cuffs.
