- Business DisputesHe received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Montana School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Montana in 1969. He then practiced law for eight years with a local law firm, with the emphasis primarily on workers' compensation and personal injury law. In 1977 he set up his own private practice emphasizing the same specialties, in addition to business law. In 1979, he joined with Norm Grosfield in forming the law firm of Utick & Grosfield, continuing with the same specialties. In 2005, he formed the Utick Law Firm, and has been a sole practitioner since that time, until his daughter, Andrea J. Utick Fox, joined the firm.
