General Info

Southern Oklahoma Safety Consulting, LLC was established in 2010 to provide citizens in Southern Oklahoma the opportunity to attend a State Certified Concealed Weapons Class and a Nationally Certified Defensive Driving Class without having to travel far from home. The classes are taught by a local law enforcement officer with 29 years of law enforcement training. The officer is an instructor in law enforcement driving training and is a firearms instructor. The classes are small permitting the students to ask all the questions they want. Since the instructor and the classes are in Southern Oklahoma, students will probably know several students in the class. The Concealed Weapons Class will: instruct the student on safe handling and safe storage of firearms; circumstances when a firearm may be carried or transported; prohibited acts using a firearm; and shoot 50 rounds of ammunition at a firing range. The Defensive Driving Class will: instruct the student techniques to avoid crashes and to choose safe, responsible, lawful driving behaviors.
