Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), in the form of acupuncture, is subtle yet powerful. This effective, drug-free method safely unlocks your innate ability to heal yourself, restoring balance in your body. As an electrical being, your nervous system constantly sends and receives electrical signals throughout your entire body. Sometimes through injury, disease, or lifestyle this free flow of electrical energy becomes hindered or blocked, causing pain or illness. I'm sure you're familiar with low back pain, headaches, digestion issues, insomnia, menstrual cramps, or other ailments that send messages of pain. Inserting fine, sterile, disposable needles at specific points in your body stimulates the flow of electrical energy, clearing blockages, correcting the root cause of your problem, and resolving your pain. Like many of my patients, you may find that once your pain is resolved, other physical and emotional functions continue to improve. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc). I hold a Masters's Degree in TCM from Five Branches Institute (now Five Branches University) in Santa Cruz, CA. I studied acupuncture, Chinese herbs, massage, and Chinese nutrition. I also hold a Diploma of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
