The company is owned by the families of Albert Boscov and Edwin Lakin. Its stores feature men's, women's and children's apparel; shoes; jewelry; cosmetics; housewares; appliances; toys; stationery; and sporting goods. Some stores also feature travel agencies, vision and hearing centers, hair salons, pet departments and restaurants. The company operates more than 40 stores and offers various brands, including Tommy Hilfiger, Jockey, Whirlpool, Calvin Klein, Lenox and Elizabeth Arden. It also provides wedding and bridal consultancy and assistance, as well as organizes numerous sales and marketing events. It provides the option of online shopping and provides various gift and credit cards. Boscov's Department Store is headquartered in Reading, Pa. While some of its stores are free standing, most are in malls. The company maintains a presence in Hazelton, Pa.
