Established in 1969, Hazelwood West High School is a three-year junior high school that offers education and enrichment programs to students in grades nine thorough 12. The schools curriculum includes classes in various subjects, including English, physics, human biology, horticulture, physics and chemistry. Hazelwood West High School offers classes in music, math, theater, creative writing, English language development, physical education, social studies, and family and consumer science. Its sport programs include basketball, tennis, golf, softball, baseball, football and golf. Additionally, the school provides classes in digital photography, Web page designing and computer application. Hazelwood West High School is part of the Hazelwood School District and is located in Hazelwood, Mo.
