Established in 2004, International Coal Group is a provider sulfur steam coal. It operates more than 10 mining complexes in central and northern Appalachia and Illinois basin. The company serves electric utilities, as well as domestic, industrial and steel customers. International Coal Group s subsidiary, ADDCAR, manufactures, leases and operates high wall mining systems. Its subsidiary, ADDCAR, uses a stacker conveyor, electric generator, water tanker, launch vehicle, continuous miner and conveyor cars for cooling and dust suppression. Headquartered in Scott Depot, W.Va., the company maintains a location in Hazard, Ky. it operates a preparation plant, underground mine and other related mining equipment at the Powell Mountain.
