Located in Hayden, Idaho, the Child Care Resource Center serves the communities of north Idaho. The center provides assistance to ensure that health and safety inspections are conducted for the licensing agencies of Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. It hosts workshops and meetings that provide information on issues related to child care. The Child Care Resource Center is operated by the Panhandle Health District, which provides health education programs to prevent diseases, disabilities and premature deaths. The district offers health counseling and screening services for children, families and senior citizens. It additionally organizes immunization programs for infants and pregnant women.
